smelly Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 I installed Kalway 10.5.1 and got everything up and running fine but I would randomly get kernel panics. I read about memory sometimes causing this issue and decided to remove 2 sticks that i picked up on newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227231) and just go with the 2GB that came with the machine . The machine has not had a kernal panic since. What i am wondering is if it could be an issue with this particular RAM. I should be able to run 4GB without issues right?
