romey-rome
I followed BJMoose's guide Here Only difference between my machine & all the people's that are reporting it working, is that I'm not running a Core Duo. I have EFI loaded & working & all that jazz. My system just reboots when it gets to Starting Darwin x86, or where the white apple screen would normally pop up. It goes so fast in verbose mode that I had to take out my SLR to get a picture of it to see what it says. Removed all the appropriate kexts. XD is on HPET on/off. makes no difference. I'm thinking it's the kernel, because if I copy the kernel from my currently running install on the same machine, it gets further in (panics, but that's another problem). Copying the kexts from the working install to the new one with a vanilla kernel does not help however.
