polmorph
Hi all, I have downloaded the MAC.OS.X.PC.ALPHA.2-KOTR.iso to install mac on my pc. I want to trie to do this first in a virtual environment (vmware) I have loaded the image and everything, I start the virtual machine, press enter to install mac and then I get this screen. When i run verbose mode, the last message is something about kp debugger or something. I use a laptop with AMD athlon 64bit 3400+ processor (with SSE2) 1 gig of ram x700 graphical card. The image from mac is loaded from the harddrive into vmware. All files are stored on the hard disk as well (so the virtual mac harddisk is just a folder in my own real hard drive) Does anyone have a clue how to proceed? If you need any more info just ask. Thanks in advance Polymorph Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86816-installing-mac-os-x-into-vmware-fails/ Share on other sites

Krazubu
You're already lucky, it doesn't go that far for me. I get that good'ol "stack kernel error" whatever I use for settings in both the host and the client. Anyway, looks like your problem is related to disk controller. Look around this...
