fetch
Hi everyone, this is a bit tricky but... For us folks whos pc's just wont install osx I thought of a plan that needs someone elses view. Install xp or linux (pref linux=less ram use) use VMware to install OSX (basically emulating a pc that could install osx) somehow (and this is the tricky part) have xp/linux automatically start up vmware and boot osx on start up. So you wouldn't even need to see xp/linux in the background. Any chance? I tried with virtualbox to no avail
thecoolone
In VMware there is an option to boot the virtual machine on Power On, but i dont think so that it will let you achieve what you are trying to do here which is "..have xp/linux automatically start up vmware and boot osx on start up. So you wouldn't even need to see xp/linux in the background." VMware Server is just an application build on top of the OS layer, therefore there is no way that you can avoid the displaying of the OS's presentation layer(i.e desktop) before the application layer. Hope this helps
