Alright. I've had 10.5.1 kalyway installed for quite some time, just waiting for my dell truemobile 1490 to arrive. Now I have it and I've been trying to get it to work.

Putting it in on the existing install...no go. It is recognized, wireless networks are found, everything's just as it should be.

then I go to connect and get "Connection Failed" or "Connection Timeout".

If I do manage to connect, which is rare, and I can't really figure out why it does connect. It connects just long enough so that I can load a SINGLE webpage. After that, the connection diminishes quickly and drops.

I've tried every trick in the book. Reinstalled three times. Different IO80211, IONetworking, AppleAirPort Kexts. None of them work. I've tried clearing my keychain, using the network diagnostic connection trick (which seems to be the one that connects me, only occasionally and then sputters and dies as before.)

The only thing that seems to work best. But still eventually dies. Is to turn airport off for about 5-10 minutes and then try to connect. The connections seems to go good for a while, then dies slowly (usually in about 5-10 minutes).

I can't figure it out. Has anyone experienced this?

What boggles my mind more is that I'm on an m1210. And it seems like plenty of people are running this card just fine.

I've also confirmed that my individual card works in XP, so this is a Mac issue.

Any Help?
