FastRx Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Used this install on my p6n core 2 extreme qx6700 system http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...3199&hl=p6n system starts to hang after about 10-15 min of operation. so much that the mouse courser stays in one spot for about 10 seconds then moves alittle then freezes again. running a 8800gtx 768mb on nvinject any thoughts? Headrush69 Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Sounds like spotlight indexing your files. (Find it even worse if you have lots of big PDF files.) If you click the spotlight icon in the upper-right of menu bar does it say indexing?
