playsccr Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 HFS partition error : if you get this, don't panic, it's not a big deal, it usually happens when you install 2 or more OSX on the same disk, for a strange reason it modifies the type of the existing hfs partitions. The solution is to use a 3rd party tool to edit partition info. Open your apparently corrupt partition info, you'll see that its type is not AF (the hex ID for hfs) anymore. Just set it back to AF, save and reboot, it should be back to normal. im trying to use acronis but have no idea what im doing and have been unable to "fix" the problem on boot....can someone help me out please... on how to fix this erro Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
