Hello again,

now it's about a month i've started experimenting with hackintosh and still no result

i've tried booting via all available images and no luck yet because of an IDE dvd drive.

Then i went on with a flat-image install. I configured everything that would be necessary according to the available walkthroughs. i succesfully installed the flat image, created an entry in my boot files and booted. The only thing i ended up with was 'chain booting error'. i've tried via gparted to format it as hfs+ and installed the flat image, via diskpart as id=af and just as fat and then installing. nothing seems to work

I'm dual booting vista/os x and i'm willing to make the switch to xp if that is the only option left.

please help me

update

i wiped out my hfs+ partition and thus there is no leopard on it anymore. however, i still get the chain booting error when trying to boot in leopard from the vista bootloader, so i guess there is something wrong with the bootloader since it didn't recognise leopard when it was on my hd before.

so many bright people here and nobody can help me solving this problem?
