Hey all, I got Leopard (Kalyway 10.5.1 disk) to install on a spare 40gb IDE hard drive a couple days ago. I had to use the parametesr "cpus=1 -v -x" in order to get it to boot into the Installer. When I was in the installer I formatted it using Mac Journaled and installed it. After it installed on the drive and it asked me to reboot it goes through POST (checking mem and harddrives) and instantly reboots right before the white screen w/ the apple logo. I tried using "cpus=1 -v -x", "cpus=1 -v -x -f -s", and "tohkernel cpus=1" and none of them worked. I then tried this guy's bootfix post and downloaded his bootfix, went into the terminal window from the install disk and I got an error on the last command which said, "IOMEDIA disk0s1 does not have a partition UUID".

I had to disable a core in order to get the install to move at a good pace.
