I'm currently using ASUS P5WD2 Premium board on my X86 system with Intel D820 processor.. is there any way i can upgrade to Core2Duo or Quad Processor with this board...?? or any suggestion to any kind processor ? many thanks ed. Herbivorous Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 If you update the driver it should work perfectly. I'm running one of the newest Core 2 Duos, the 45nm E8400 with BIOS version 2704. If you're buying a new Core 2 Duo, the E8400 is the chip to buy. It runs cooler and has more speed in reserve.
