I had Zephyroth rev 1 installed and running perfectly, with the exception of one of my SATA hard drives that was formatted as HFS+ couldn't be mounted. All this drive had on it was data and not an OS,

So doing a search I noticed that many people were having problems accessing drives on SATA #3 and #4 channels and that there was a patch for accessing there drives using the ICH8 patch. I thought I would give it a try.

I applied the patch and rebooted and now I am receiving a "Still waiting for root device error". Trying to find out what went wrong, I realized that I didn't have the ICH8 chipset since I have a DFI Lanparty NF4 motherboard.

Can someone help to revert back to a state before I applied the patch without reinstalling the OS.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

the patch I applied is stationapollo_ICH9.pkg
