knutanders
Hi, after the installation of Kalyway 10.5.1 on my Dell Latitude D600 (Pentium M, SSE2) Mac OS X loads (white screen with apple logo) and after 15 seconds it gets dark grey with the demand that my PC needs a restart. After restart same procedure. Knows anybody a solution. Whalid
Here's my -v Heres the restart screen Hi, Have you tried to boot in safe mode? -x -v on Darwin... I had a similar lockup sometime ago and it was related to speedstep. If your system is able to boot in safe, you probably have a kext problem. Check this and post the results. Maybe I'll try reinstalling with different patching options. I suppose you can boot from the cd and access the hd... Boot from a cd install go to your HD and move the file AppleIntelCpuPowermanagement.kext... Hope it helps Cheers Whalid Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86329-screen-becomes-grey-and-system-need-a-restart/#findComment-696379 Share on other sites
