nebuluz
Hi all. I've done some performance tests with XBench and iATKOS and Kayway Leopard releases. When i run Vanilla Kernel i get almost half the performance in XBench compared to use ToH Kernel + Speedstep, most diffrents are in the Quartz, OpenGL and UI tests. 1) So what i wonder is, doesn't Vanilla Kernel allow me to run at max speed? Or can i change it somehow? 2) With ToH+Speedstep i clearly see the Mhz at the top of the screen, are there any good app that can display the same with Vanilla Kernel? nebuluz
When using Speedstep.app you can see the current mHz at the top of the screen. Just change to speedstep kernel wont be enough to get speedstep i belive.
