dreake
Hello, I'm new to OSX86 installations. I've installed iATKOS v1.0 and have some problems, maybe someone can help me: I have ASUS Z96Jm laptop with Core Duo 2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, ATI Mobility X1600, Intel a/b/g WLAN and Realtek HDA sound and ethernet. I have 5 partitions: - Primary NTFS 20GB and Windows XP SP3 here - Extended - Logical EXT3 10GB with Debian Linux - Logical SWAP 1GB - Logical FAT32 80GB and there is "data drive" - Primary Unallocated 12 GB ... and You know what there will be There is GRUB in MBR... The problems are: - In installation customization I've selected EFI and ATI Inject drivers and other 2 from the list. In BIOS I've changed IDE to AHCI. - After installation the GRUB appears normally and there is no chance to boot to OSX. But I've booted from iKATKOS install DVD and typed "rd=disk0s3" and booted system. Can I plug it into grub? - during and after all the startup stuff the system have "lags" such in many internet games on slow internet connection. Why? Have someone the same thing? - everythings works expect WLAN and graphics, even Sound and Bluetooth How to install ATI X1600 driver. I found one guide but I have question. Can I do this after install? Please forgive me lack english ang noob questions but I'd love to have Leopard. ------------------------------------------------ EDIT -------------------------------------------------------------- I've installed it again without any customization (without EFI and etc.) but I've got the same problem. Have anyone the same laptop or simillar? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86098-iatkos-v10-on-asus-laptop/ Share on other sites
