satidip Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Hi Thanks guys for the wonderful posts here. I have downloaded Jas mac osx 10.4.8 and burnt it on a DVD. I have formatted my partition to FAT32. When I boot from my Jas DVD the following error comes up "80 connector cable not detected on the secondary channel. Intel pentium cable not detected on secondary channel." CAn anybody pl tell what might be wrong.? I have P4 2.4 Processor, Intel D865GBF MOBO 2 GB DDR Ram onboard Graphics M Audio Fast Track Pro Audio Interface. Thanx in advance. Guest Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Check your BIOS settings, usually this happens because your IDE cable is set wrong (If i'm not mistaken there is also something called an IDE 40 and IDE 80) I'd suggest checking the BIOS to make sure all your drives are in the correct channels.. then try again..
