Blitxxx Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I know this sounds funny.... But I think it would be totally snazztastik to use an Xbox 360 controller for apps like FrontRow. Already it is possible to emulate the remote via the keyboard, I would guess that the 360 controller could have a remote emulation kext Has this already been done ? inedible Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 yes, there's a driver for 360 gamepads... search google for "xbcd os x" and you should find it. I'm not sure it lets you remap keys so frontrow would use it, nor do I know if frontrow would allow you to remap its keys... but at least for playing games you'd be able to use it. there's a program called GlovePIE for windows which lets you emulate button presses using gamepads, though I don't know its osx equivalent.
