Marino77
Hi, I’m trying to make my Wifi Card to work (Mobo ASUS P5W DH Deluxe, Processor Intel Core2Duo 5500 2.33Ghz, Video Geforce 7300GT Dual monitor working, HD 2 Western Digital 160 Gb. System OSX86 10.4.10, Koolkal update from JAS 10.4.8. Running flawlesly!). I’v allready installed the Realtek driver (MacOS10.4UniversalDriver1.4.5UI1.4.7.zip) and the utility runs smoothly, but in “Link Status” my card appears as “disconnected” (there’s no green light also in the back panel). Am I missing some configuration? do I have to make some tweaks on the BIOS? or is just that there’s no wifi network around? Anyway i would like to use my hackintosh as an Acces Point, so i can connect my laptop wirelessly, is that possible yet? Thanks! Thanks!Yes you can configure the card as an AP and let your laptop connect to it, you will need to establish rules in ipfw to bridge your ethernet with your wireless but it's all doable. You would have been better to display your scan page rather than the status page cause you aren't even sure if any AP's are around you and this implies that you don't own any AP's.
