yoyo55 Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 I use Acronis Disk Director Suite and i really have no clue on what type of partition I should create for MAC for AMD? (Leopard) =>CREATE NEW PARTITION =>window comes up =>unalocated space or free space from existing partitions =>for the second option I choose where i get my space from =>and then i get to choose how much space i get to have in it =>after i do that i choose if i want PRIMARY/LOGICAL/ACTIVE (dunno what to do) =>after that i choose if i want NTFS/FAT32/EXT2/EXT3/ReiserFS/NONE (dunno which one to choose) Any Help Plz... anima322 Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 You have to create a PRIMARY Partition (you can do this with DISKPART in windows (start - execute - cmd - diskpart - create partition primary id=af) you have to choose the MAC OS Extended (Journaled) Type... it is only availabe when you are in the setup of apple OS X because there is a program named "Disk Utility". Then you can format the partition with the MAC OS Extended (journaled) type...
