Guest Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 I burned (using CloneDVD2) Mac OS X 10.4.8 JaS onto my Tesco DVD and i keep getting this error whilst booting up where i see the matrix style screen SAM Multimedia : READ or WRITE failed (something like that) This then continues forever and never stops... I also get disk0s3 : I/O Error Any way to fix this... could it be i need a better brand... Dash-T Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 I've heard DVD-/+RW cause problems with these install DVDs, so use DVD-/+R instead. Also, burn at the slowest speed possible to lessen the chances of burning errors.
