After install pc reboots and get a black screen with a Blinking _ line This topic was brought up some time ago. And reason for this was because Darwin bootload was not installed correctly. go into terminal then. type fdisk -e /dev/rdiskX (where X is the number of ur hdd can be checked under disk utility) flag 1 (if u only have one partition) quit reboot then ready and reinstall Tryed this method several times and still no luck. Colonel Badger Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Try downloading GParted Live CD and boot that. I had the same problem and rebooted using GParted, removed the Boot flag from the partition, then reapplied the Boot flag. Then just reboot and you should be up and running.
