I installed jas 10.4.8 on my laptop hp nc6000 (PM 1.7, intel 855pm, ATI9600,etc)

Everything works pretty well except speedstep support. I tried cputhrottler and it suceeded.

I also noticed that cputhrottler has replaced my 8.8.1 kernel with an 8.9.1 one, so I replace System.kext with an correspondent one.

So far, the system works fine. However, if I boot with AC power off, the system hangs here

[HCIController][setupHardware] AFH Not Supported (0x1bb1b70)

also, I perceived that it produced following output with power cord in

the launchd bug: launchd.c:1990:17: ioctl(s6, SIOCAIFADDR_IN6, &ifra6) != -1

How can I fix this issue?

Or could anyone tell me how speedstep works on Centrinos?
