shkaff
Hello there. Let's assume I have an ISO of ToH_x86_9A581_RC2 and I want to place it into an existing HFS+ partition in order to boot from it and perform the installation without burning any DVD. I saw there is an approach with using CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner), but it is supposes to be installed and run from an existing working installation of OSX, while I haven't any. Is it possible to write this image directly into the partition from Windows using dd.exe for example? Or do I really have to do it from a running OSX only? Brothers, any your help on this would be appreciated. p.s. I am talking about an ISO image, but not DMG one.
