N3o21
Hi... At fisrt, I must apologize for my bad english - I'm from Czech, and I'm not best at English :-) I'm planning to install Mac OS X (probably 10.4, because I love his GUI. But Maybe 10.5) to flashdrive. But I don't know, how many gigabytes does it take. Is the 8GB of memory enough to install OS X and some additional software? Or I must buy a "bigger" flashdirive, to be able to use OS X for rare use? I want to try the OS X on my laptop. If it'll be good enough, I'll be thinking about installing OS X for normal use. So... How many gigabytes does the OS X take from my flashdrive? Amon Duul
8 gig will be just enough for OS X and a few programs. You'd be ok to test it out. I'd suggest installing to an external harddrive though, with more space, 80gb or something.
