aspect
Hey everybody. Well, I ran my iAtkos patched dvd, formatted a nice 10GB chunk of my harddrive to Mac OS X (Journaled), went through terminal to set that partition as my active one, and proceeded to install leopard. Halfway through the installation, my computer just rebooted. i erased the partition again, and ran the installation. same thing. so I booted from my hard drive, and selected Leopard in darwin boot. it went to the gray apple logo screen with the spinny thing and loaded for a few seconds. then it froze. i ran -v, and the last line it froze on was "Resetting IOCatalogues". anyone have any idea what could be wrong? heres the last few lines of the log. BSD root : disk0s2, major 14, minor 2 jnl: unknown-dev: replay_journal: from: 361984 to: 2218496 (joffset 0x13b000) jnl: unknown-dev: journal replay done. extension "com.apple.driver.iTunesPhoneDriver" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0. Jettisoning kernel linker. Resetting IOCatalogue. thanks in advance! EDIT: well, i fixed it with the cpus=1 thing. /yay/ and OS X is now working on my computer! /confetti/ thread closed please.
