Thinkpad T60

Type : 2007-4BU

T2400(1.83GHz)

2.5GB RAM

80GB 5400rpm HD

14.1in 1400x1050 LCD

64MB ATI Radeon X1300

Intel 3945 802.11abg wireless

The Kalway 10.5.1 installation went better than I thought it was going to go.

With the help of this site I was able to fix the audio, some of the power management features, and the correct default resolution. So far, I am very happy with it. Listed below are some things I would like to fix if at all possible.

Quartz Extreme

I did as instructed for the ATI X1300 listed HERE but it doesn't seem to work. Here is what my System Profiler is reporting.

Display:

Type: Display

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 128 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x7149

Revision ID: 0x0000

Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1400 x 1050

Depth: 32-bit Color

Core Image: Software

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

According to the above linked tutorial, the device ID should be reporting 0x7145 and NOT 0x7149. It seems to me that it is not loading the ATIRadeonX1000.kext that I edited. What do I do to fix this?

Processor

I have a Centrino Duo but under "About this Mac" the processor is listed as "1.83 GHz Unknown". This makes me think that it is not recognizing both Cores. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.

Wifi

I have the dreaded Intel 3945 abg, I installed the driver that I got HERE but it caused my system to crash on boot up. Has anyone had any success using any PCMCIA WiFi cards that are supported on Leopard?
