On my Vaio laptop i only have 512MB RAM and during installation i keep getting the error message

'Because of an error, Installing Mac OS X could not be completed'

I increased my RAM from 256 to 460 on VMware and the installation went further... But still crashed

I have a feeling i need more RAM however apparently Mac OS X should be able to install with 512MB RAM any help on how to make it install without crashing... other options

I am using a Virtual Drive

(If you want to know my BIOS how do i find it out)

You are right... but how can i install this then...

Changing topic a bit but i keep getting

'Because of a problem, installing Mac OS X could not be completed.'

However at some points i have managed to get to the installer screen

Then VMware just crashes with 'Localdump' or gives me that message..

Any help with this.. anything to do with RAM
