x4n4t0s Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Hi everyone, I've installed Kalyway 3 times with differents package (vanilla kernel, and without it too) but i still have the same problem : You need to restart your computer, hold down the power buton... And don't know what to do and please, please help me. Configuration : Intel Core 2 duo E6400 ATI Radeon x1300 PRO (but now i've a ATI HD3870, but I haven't tested with it) Motherboard : Optiplex 745 - Bus : Intel GTL+ Please i hope someone will help me. mbarbieri Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Take out the ATI card and use the Dell built in video. That's how I got mine to boot. You will have to take the plastic cover off the builtin video connector but it will work. The builtin video works when you take out the ATI card. Tbb73 Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 I had the same problem too and I took out the ATI x1300. Where you able to have the on board video properly working?
