Setup: GA-P35C-DS3R 2GB 2XOCZ PLATINUM DDR2-800 RAM Q6600 Quad core intel cpu GUID partition sceme+PC_EFI_V8 1XWD200 MAC OS NTFS 1XWD250 WINXP 1XSamsung X20 DVDRW Black Linksys Wusb54G V4 Nvidia 6600GT After tinkering with the wifi drivers which took a while everything is working now except i still have a problem with loosing the wifi when the system goes to sleep and a problem with the restart/shutdown option when the system just goes to black screen and needs to be reset from from the case to boot. I will post the Xbench and some screenies later. Gantlett Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 I too have the GA-P35C-DS3R (Rev. 2.0) running Kalyway 10.5.1 with EFI/GUID/Vanilla, and I too have the same Shut Down BSOD problem. Restart works though. BTW, I also had a problem where Apple System Profiler would constantly crash, and a nice user here told me disabling "Limit CPUMAXID" in the BIOS would solve that. And it did My rig: E6550 2.33 @ 2.975GHz 2x1GB Kingston 800MHz RAM @ 850MHz GA-P35C-DS3R, Rev. 2.0 nVidia 8400GS 256MB SATA DVD and HD's -Ethernet worked out-of-the-box -Graphics acceleration works thanks to Punk92's great package -Sound requires Kexts, haven't tried yet (I have a PCI audio card with its own drivers) but read here for more info -SATA & IDE: ICH9-R works in AHCI mode, JMicron SATA doesn't. Haven't tried the JMicron IDE yet (not sure if ever will) -Photoshop CS3 and Carbon Copy Cloner work (they didn't on my Uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3) -WiFi: D-Link DWL-G122 Rev. C1 - Not working. Looking for help at this post. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Official P35 / ICH9R page.
