tharryc Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Hey guys, long time reader here. Just installed the Kalaway 10.5.1 version on my Latitude D820. Had a 3945 wireless card but bought a 1390 (what a fun experience, my first taking a laptop apart!). Everything works great, I have network, graphics, but no sound. Sound isn't a huge loss for me, as I'm using the Latitude for notetaking (college student) primarily, and also some InDesign work. Anyway, if anyone has a fix for the sound, that would be great, but I did want to let people know Kalaway works on the D820.... at least on mine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

nando2323 Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 I got it working on my D820 also when booting just use -v -x. The only thing is I can't get the dual core working and the Broadcom nic either. I got the sound to work though you have to use that patcher, I forget the name but if you google "D820 leopard sound" I am sure you will find it.
