cyclonefr Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 Hi, ive got 1111 with 4.2B patch etc and SSE2 CPU + RADEON 9800 PRO I tried several games in Univ Bin of course and OpenGL and it runs pretty good but really slower than on XP. a8ne Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 In my experience 8f1009 (with SSE2 CPU) will get you higher xbench scores and it will just feel faster but everything is still slower than XP. If you're gaming you want the best possible performance which means boot XP and come back to OSX86 when you're done. I'm wondering how much improvement I'd see with an upgrade to a SSE3 CPU.
