afireinside
I reeeeeeeeeally need it guys I've tried installing 10.4.4, 10.4.8 and 10.4.9 but they ALL don't recognize my USB devices. So I noticed others who were having the same problem fixed it by using the kext from 10.4.3. The problem is, I can't find it anywhere. I've tried extracting it from the 10.4.3 update and the debug kexts from apple but they're both for PPC. So if anyone has the kext please PM me with a link or send it to my email (thewhitesilence@gmail.com). afireinside
Mine's a Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M. I read around some more, some people fixed their problem by disabling Legacy support in bios, unfortunately mine doesn't have that option >< And I'll give that one a try =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84854-iousbfamilykext-from-1043/#findComment-605577 Share on other sites

afireinside
Hmm the file that you linked to didn't work for me. And yes, it's Gigabyte & AMD. In a way it sucks that such few people are having this issue. Thankfully I'm buying a new computer soon so I won't have to bother. Good luck & hopefully you'll find a solution =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84854-iousbfamilykext-from-1043/#findComment-607342 Share on other sites
