yizhou_hu Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 hey guys, i have an Asus A8jc. the sound card is soundmax 1986. tried all the solutions here we have in the forum. i have a sound icon at the right top of the screen. i can slide the volume bar. however, in the system, it says no built-in sound device and my no sound comes out from the speakers. any suggestions or any people have A8j laptop? moreover, any people know how to make the wirless (intel 3945 abg) work? try the iwi3945.dmg already but it doesnt help. the system can not even boot with that driver. really like leopard and need help. thank you everyone.
