Hello,

I just spent some time installing the Kalyway Leo DVD this morning on my computer. Here is the hardware I have:

ABIT AB9 QuadGT BIOS 15

Core 2 Duo @ 3.12GHz

4GB PC6400 @ 390MHz

AMD ATI Radeon 3850 (System profiler shows ATI (0x1002), Device ID: 0x9505, Revision ID: 0x0000, No Kext Loaded)

Maxtor Maxline III SATA 250GB

Onboard Realtek 888 HD Audio

ASUS SATA DVD-/+RW

Okay - the install (after a little bit of trial and error) seemed to go fine. Here is what I checked:

* Vanilla Kernel: checked both Vanilla_Kernel and Vanella_ACPI_fix

* Video Drivers: NATIT_ATIcards

* Soundcard: AZALIA_out

* Bootloader: BOOT_efi_guid

* Drive formatted to Case-sensitive Journaled HFS+ (GUID)

The install completes and I can reboot wihtout issue, I get to the start up screen (gray apple with light gray background, little progress circle thingy). It seems to be going well, I even get audio of "welcome to your new mac, blah blah blah" but after this audio completes the system seems to hang, the progress circle stops and nothing else happens.

Screen cap after booting wiht -v:

*UPDATE* 12:18PM PST:

I swapped out my graphics card to an ATI x1900GT and she booted. Setting up account right now. I would still like to know if if anyone has got an ATI X38x0 to work.

Thoughts?
