jazzyb88 Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Hi, I'm trying to install Leopard under VMWare 6.0.2 but keep getting a 'ATA Disk: Checksum Cookie not valid' error. It then proceeds to hang. See the screenshot below. Other notes: Emulation mode is Other, Darwin if that helps? I've tried putting the DVD-ROM and HDD on the same IDE channel but that hasn't helped get rid of the checksum error. It has, however, gotten rid off the 'waiting for root device' error. Any ideas?
