Ok, well I successfully installed 10.5.1 on my Toshiba x205 after 1 month of hassle... Anyways, I have a realtek internal audio system so I installed the driver i was supposed to for audio and in order to get Leopard to boot, I didn't install any video drivers. When I booted up, there was NO SOUND :( So I read somewhere on this forum to install ALL the audio drivers... so I did. I used to be able to adjust the volume control, but after i restarted it was gone and now my computer doesn't recognize ANY sound system at all ;):P I don't know how to delete my sound drivers so I can just install my realtek one again.... and even that doing that, I still dont know why there isn't any sound  I'm going crazy. Please help and subscribe to this thread so that it doesn't get lost in the 6,430,242 other threads. I appreciate it!

Thanks!

Check out the system.log for any lines regarding sound.

In case, you can find it in Application -> Utilities -> Console (I believe leo has the same app name).

Post the fragment from it of the last boot here, and we will check it out :P

this doesn't seems like it's a bootlog.

To get all the events, that accured during the boot, do the following:

1. Turn on your pc

2. Wait about 15 minutes

3. Write down the current time

4. Reboot

5. After you logged in, check the lines (in system.log) that has timing interval from #3 and #5.

6. Post result here.
