Caleb Gray
When using Preview, specifically while looking at a PDF and scrolling/selecting text, it randomly (?) freezes up OS X. It doesn't crash, because if I have iTunes running the music plays all the way through my library. I do use the experimental NVInject 2.1 + 10.5.2 kexts method for display, though I have my doubts this is what's causing it. My reasoning: when the Install DVD is in and I rapidly scroll through the PDF it will access the DVD at the same moment it would have locked up and continue to work (WHAT!?!?). Anyone have any ideas? I am going to try falling back to Preview from 10.4.8 and see if that either 1) even works or 2) fixes it, of course. Thanks in Advance! Caleb Gray
I ended up finding the Skim app on Sourceforge which does everything Preview did and more anyway. This is my temporary solution. I'll be writing a nic driver (check my sig) for about a month, then I will look back into this problem. davidcmc
I'm having the same issue with my Zephyroth Leopard. Already fixed all the cpuids from Leopard volume with Marvin AMD Utility but the problem persists. I'm gonna try Adobe Reader now.
