patroche Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 just a quick newbie question: in the install dvd, what is the SSE2 option for (just under the Vanilla kernel section)? since the dvd name says SSE2+SSE3 only (i've got a q6600, so SSE2+SSE3 cpu), what is this option for? do you check it if you have a SSE2 only cpu (that doesent support SSE3)? so would i leave it unchecked if i have a SSE2+SSE3 cpu?
