okcomplete
Hey, i'm having a problem... After I boot form the disk, it goes to the apple loading screen (you know, the grey screen with the apple logo and the swirly loader) and it sits there, I know it can take a long time to load, but i let it sit there for 3 hours and it did nothing. r00ter
Okay, when you boot up - in the Darwin Bootloader, hit the key it requests to type in additional startup options. Type in -v and hit enter. This will boot OS X in Verbose mode. From there, tell us what it gets stuck on Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84363-apple-loading-screen/#findComment-598863 Share on other sites
MacNmusic
I had this same problem using iDeneb and Leo4All. It keeps getting stuck in verbose mode @ Can't find root device". It even does this when running VMware trying to run it. Could it just be my chipset and OSx are not friendly?
