enb14
Guys I got a working OSX on my IDE hard drive, I installed it via DVD but since my motherboard only detects SATA or USB I had to use an USB DVD drive and installed it into a SATA hard drive, then added my device ID to get working my IDE hard drive, now my USB DVD is not working anymore so I wanted to clone my working copy on my IDE hard drive to my SATA, to get that I used CarbonCopyCloner and it worked but if I don't use the -f it reboots, does anyone knows how to fix it? By the way on my IDE Hard Drive I don't have this issue. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84265-my-osx-only-boots-if-i-set-f/ Share on other sites

joeblough
i think you need to delete your kernel extension caches and then boot with -f. that should create new kernel caches and from then on you shouldnt need -f. enb14
That's what I did, I deleted the Extensions.mkext then waited for the new Extension.mkext to be created but even with that I have always to do -f Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84265-my-osx-only-boots-if-i-set-f/#findComment-601190 Share on other sites
