I was wondering if you guys could help me install leopard on my system.. im not sure what version of the leopard to get.. i've been reading here and seems like kalyway is good but i dont get all of this vanilla kernal and all.. and not sure which drives to enable for the install etc. and then i heard that ikatocs or something like is suppossed to by the new awesome installation and idk about that either. i tried a Zephyroth install and i heard that it wont support nfroce5 chips and stuff like that so i thought i'd start all over... my system: Amd Athlon X2 4600 (hopefully mac wont mind overclocked cpu's right) w/ Thermaltake Blue Orb (controlled by the bios though.. wont be controlled from OS) Biostar Tforce 550 motherboard w/ onboard realtek sound Nvidia Nforce 550 Sapphire radeon x1950 pro 256mbWD 30gb ide driveMaxtor 10g ide driveim gonna tri boot this. 30 gb.. 20 for mac.. 10 for xp 64 sp3 and then ubuntu on a flash drive 10 gb drive will be common fat32 ground for all oses to work with.. gonna use easybsd to boot all three? so um.. first question is.. what version do i download.. what settings,kernals etc.the logs from the installation i tried.. it installed fine.. and then when it automatically restarts after 30 seconds.. i get a grey screen with the mouse for a few seconds.. and then a black screen with a writing cursor thing in the corner.. it writes like 2 lines really quick and reboots.. and then it loads windows.. install_e_p_done.txt install2_e_done.txt install_all_1_mins.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84262-please-help-a-newbie-install-leopard/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
