cockmaster
I'm looking at various Lenovo Thinkpads as a desktop replacement laptop that I would plug into an external monitor at home. The R61i I'm leaning towards only has VGA out on the laptop itself...you need a port replicator/docking bay for DVI (which I consider a must-have). Do the DVI ports on these port replicators typically work with OS X? Or do I need to look for a laptop that has an actual on-board DVI out? I know there's probably not a lot to the port replicator hardware other than connecting the dock pins to the DVI out pins, so I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I am curious about other peoples' experiences with this.
