IronWolve
I was wondering if you can install 10.5.x on a logical partition or do you have to use a primary partition? My HD is setup with 3 primaries (apps/xp/vista) and 5-10 are logicals (for grub/swap/linux/bsd/etc and hopefully osx) I tried to boot into a logical and got the b0 error from osx. Thanks! -iw Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84170-can-you-install-on-a-logical-partition/ Share on other sites

SticMAC™
It has to be a primary partition SticMAN edit. see below - hence my advice use a primary partition Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84170-can-you-install-on-a-logical-partition/#findComment-598327 Share on other sites
macgirl
Yes you can install, but sometimes it fails, there is no conclusive, I have problems every time I use logical partitions with Mac OS and not only for install. but some other had very good experiences.
