Alright, all parts are here, everything assembled and my new Hacintosh is quietly humming next to me, but not running OS X.

I am writing all this from my Powerbook.

First of all I installed Kayway and it works. I did not install Natit/NVinject, because the wiki said the Zotac works out of the box. Well, it doesn't, :P I installed Kaly again, this time WITH NVinject and now everything is shiny. If someone could give me a clue what has to be done to have this card working without NVinject, bring it on!

Also, the Asus does not work (HCL says it should work ootb). I have only WLAN, so this is pretty bad news for me. It is recognised as Airport and sometimes I can connect to the WLAN, but whenever it does not report a connection timeout it is incredibly slow! Since I am sitting with my Powerbook 12" here, reception quality can not be the problem...

There are great guides here, but since I cannot install EFI from my powerbook I planned to install Kaly and from there do my own vanilla retail DVD install.

Also, on the long run this will have to be a dual boot PC: I want to have WinXP64 installed to be able to watch HD (-DVD&Bluray).

So installing from one partition to another shouldn't differ too much from installing from you Intel Mac onto an external disk that is to be transplanted into the Hacintosh, right?

So what is going wrong here?

Maybe its just too late. I am going to sleep for some hours now, maybe then someone or even me myself has found the error.

Cheers! And thanx for any helpful suggestions :/

Oh, and the 2.4GHz Q6600 is listed as 2.13GHz unkown - at least all the RAM (8GB) is recognized.
