Ianxxx
When I got that it was my graphics card causing the problem. Boot up with dvd and use terminal and move GeForce.kext and NVDAN40Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext to somewhere else and try again. This is for Nvidia obviously but I presume its the same with ATI but don't ask me which files.
G-monay
Can anyone explain to me how you get the terminal up to correct some of these errors, like the black screen I am getting from my Nvida FX 5200? I went back to my Intel card and it still gave me the same issue. I am completely a novice at all of this. I will go through the forum and see if I can find a more detailed explaination of how this is done. I don't care what happens to the drive because it's not my Vista drive. Thanks
