dpace32 Posted January 27, 2008 Share Posted January 27, 2008 I have an nForce5 based motherboard that is giving me all sorts of issues while installing OS X (the latest error is: ioata controller blocking device bus). I was thinking of purchasing an IDE controller card and using an IDE hard drive, would this help me out? Right now it wont recognize my SATA drives at all and it will only start the install process if I used a USB -> IDE adapter. Any help on this would be appreciated.
