I have an Asus P4P800-Deluxe Mobo, and have read in the compatibility list, that the onboard ethernet does not work. So I installed a PCI card (d-link DFE-530TX+), which according to the lists, works right 'out of the box'. In my case, it does not. Is there something that I should be doing? When I install the driver and restart, it says it was installed incorrectly and should be reinstalled.

I tried booting in -v, and it just went by to fast, but I did see some d-link stuff pop up, is there a way to slow this down, or log it, or better yet, any way to fix it without needing to read it? haha

If anyone has any clue, please let me know.
