tomaszjc7
First, what kind of image exactly did you download? If its the generic one you mentioned in the title its most lickely still a dmg file (Apple iso file) and vmware will not recognize it. You have to use a prog called UltraISO to convert the image to an ISO and then apply the patch. So, what the image, a 10.4.3? a 8f1099 or 8f1111? and second, what patch did you apply? Another thing, DO some research before you go asking simple questions... if you dont even have the slightest idea what your doing no one is going to respond to your posts. Its called the wiki, read it. Dippyskoodlez
10.4.4 , 8f1099 patched to 8f1111. Not dmg ISO. Its 10.4.3, not 10.4.4 as that will not work on PC's yet. build 8f1111 is 10.4.3 anyways, aswell. Otherwise, follow the Vmware guides. Disable all peripherals like serial/parallel in vmware bios and use "platform=x86pc -v" as boot arguments and it should run fine.
