This will be my first hackintosh and I wanted to know if these components will be compatible with leopard. If you see something that needs to be substituted please let me know. Thanks

should work. Just make sure to not Enable AHCI and Change the Sata mode from LEgacy to Native. ICH9 and +R boards dont allow the use of the last sata ports in leopard with AHCI enabled. Not really a problem.. ahci doesnt make much of a difference

I would definately go with the first option.. although the second option will still be fast and functional. Use the guide in my sig to get 100 percent functionality.
