voggorb Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Hi, Today my mother has gotten a new 500GB WD harddrive for her PowerMac G5, and is replacing her current 160GB maxtor drive with it. Which means I get her 160GB drive =) My question is, can I "add" it to my kalyway leopard installation which is on a Seagate 160GB drive, without reinstalling the whole system? Basically I want RAID 0 with these two drives, and am wondering if it will work and how to do it. Will it boot? Do I need a third drive to set them up? etc.. My system: Abit IS-7 865P P4 3.0 Prescott 1GB RAM Seagate 160GB sata (+ the new Maxtor 160GB sata) I installed kalyway 10.5.1 using GUID. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
