xclusivex Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 Anyone know? I tried one of the installers for my 8800GT and now when it boots I get a black screen. I don't know if it has to do with the DVI to VGA adapter or not because the DVI doesn't seem to work on my monitor. So I'm looking for a way to uninstall the drivers without reinstalling the operating system. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mtotho Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Boot up in Safemode (-x) and delete the video kexts.. or replace them with newer oce.. beter yet... for your card download punk92's installer.. boot up into safe mode and install those and it should overwrite the problem kexts.
